Oh, hello.
If you're here it's because you have a strong sense of community and despite our sometimes unforgiving world, you still believe in doing good.

By nature of interior design work, we're accustomed to working with clientele who have everything they need and most (if not all) of what they want. So, when we learned about a local Wrentham family whose needs far exceed their wants, we were compelled to step up and help.

I've known this family for some time. Valentina is a single mother of four boys, three of whom live with her. Right before Christmas, her 17 year-old was involved in a serious car accident and is now paralyzed from the waist down. Since he can no longer walk and requires a wheelchair, the family had to relocate to a handicapped-accessible apartment that's just 800 square feet.

This has put further pressure on their already-strained income and with mounting medical bills, they have very few furnishings for this new home. Mom works three jobs to keep her family afloat and while she's an impressive blend of energy, grit and sass, she could really use a hand - or many - adjusting to a new, very different kind of life. Everyone deserves to feel comfortable at home and I know this community can help make "home" happen for this family. Valentina told me her dream is to have matching bedding for the boys. We've got this, right?!

Furnishings will be shipped to our climate-controlled receiving warehouse in Sharon, MA where they'll be unboxed, inspected and stored. Once all items have arrived, the KAI team will install the items in the home and style the spaces with accessories and decor.
