Lurecrest Community,

Thank you so much for your care and concern in response to our recent shop fire. On Thursday, December 15 at 10:30 PM we watched all of our maintenance and facility supplies go up in smoke as our newly finished building burned. While it was heartbreaking to lose the building and equipment so soon after completion, we have been reminded continually of the Lord's kindness through this process. The cause of the fire was ruled out as any sort of safety hazard or building issue and was attributed to a battery fire or stray spark. Our insurance has been quick to respond and assure our coverage of a rebuild and compensate for the lost materials. We are so thankful.

In light of this, we would like to invite you to partner with us in refilling the shop and turning a loss into a blessing. Many of the tools and equipment we moved into the building were at the end of their life and some of the larger pieces of equipment (skid steer, Kawasaki mule, etc..) will be hard to replace with something of equal value.

This tool registry will give us the chance to fill our shop with new tools and offset the cost of upgrading some of our larger equipment. Every tool will make a difference and serve as a reminder that Lurecrest runs on community and kindness. As we fill the shelves we will be thinking of you. We look forward to an even better completion of our new shop.
