This year, we have the distinct honor of helping a local family whose strength, courage, and resilience has inspired us to step out and make it a Christmas to remember … a Christmas that provides a generational life change … the best Christmas EVER. This Northeastern Wisconsin family has experienced sudden, unimaginable loss. The Mom of little ones below 7 years old lost her fight with cancer just before Thanksgiving, after a courageous year-long battle. Now the family is facing the holidays grieving her loss. We are “playing Santa,” gathering gifts for each person, both young and old. We hope to help move them from being hopeless to hopeful. We want to be the hands and feet of our community, letting them know that their community Cares, Loves, and Supports them. Profile of Green Bay partnered with Meridian Social Living (locally) and the Best Christmas Ever (nationally) to surprise this family with life-changing gifts. In addition to the gifts listed here, we’re raising $5,000 to help with their mortgage. Buy a gift from this registry and make sure it gets to our location in Ashwaubenon by Dec. 14 – or stop by to pick off a gift tag from our Giving Tree. And consider donating to their mortgage fund.
