The Mission of the Southern Vermont Natural History Museum is to inspire stewardship and appreciation of the natural world through engaging educational experiences. Our vision is of a community committed to a life-long personal relationship with nature and environmental conservation.

We display one of New England's largest collections of native species along with live animal exhibits, ecology, geology and natural history exhibits. With nearby access to over 600 protected acres of hiking trails, the family fun and adventure can continue outside year-round.

We wouldn’t be who we are without YOU. Thank you for your generosity!
