Thank your for considering donating to my new dance studio business- the ultimate graduation gift! Ever since middle school, I have dreamed of owning my own dance studio. Throughout my high-school, undergraduate, and graduate years, I have been committed to gaining a holistic dance education and now strive to make quality dance education accessible to students in minority communities. In 2019, I started my youth dance company named Mena's Dance Xchange and hosted rehearsals in a local community center. During the first year of my dance company, I've had the opportunity to impact 20+ families through the gift of dance and now I look forward to the opportunity to increase my impact at my own dance studio. I have recently graduated from Texas Woman's University with my Master of Arts in Dance and I am excited to take that knowledge and experience into my newest journey as a dance studio owner. I will open the doors to my studio on October 3rd and want to ensure my students have a comfortable and safe atmosphere that they can be excited about as their new dance home! Your generosity helps me to continue to share the joy of dance, the life lessons dance teaches, and build community amongst young aspiring artists.
