Brandon and Sam's story began when they were teenagers in high school. Young and unsure of where the future may take them, they started their relationship on March 4, 2013. They would end up graduating high school together in 2014.
Their relationship continued as they became young adults while attending Lambton College in their early 20s. During this time, they matured and helped each other become the people they are today. They eventually graduated from Lambton College in 2018/2019.
In July of 2020, Brandon and Sam bought their first house in Corunna, Ontario and are living there happily with their 3 cats Griffin, Salem, and Silver.
Brandon proposed to Sam on March 4, 2023. The wedding is planned for September 21, 2024.

How did we meet?
Brandon and Sam met in 2011 when they were in high school. At the time, they were both in Grade 10 and only had a few classes together.
Nevertheless, enough time spent together in these classes allowed Brandon and Sam to become friends. While they often picked on each other, they also helped one another when it was needed. Enough time talking made them realize they got along together quite well.
Over the course of the next year and a half, Brandon and Sam's friendship developed to the point where they became boyfriend and girlfriend.

Was it love at first sight?
While not love at first sight, Brandon and Sam's friendship often consisted of not-so-obvious signals and misinterpreted messages.
Brandon, being an introvert, never picked up on the fact that Sam liked him. At the same time, he liked her, but didn't know how to express it.
During their first date to the movies, Brandon didn't even know he was on a date. It was not until a few months after that did Sam clearly and explicitly ask Brandon if they should be boyfriend and girlfriend. To which he replied, "sure, we'd go good together," all the while trying to hide his excitement.

When and where was the proposal?
10 years after Brandon and Sam's friendship developed into a serious relationship, Brandon finally proposed to Sam on March 4, 2023 - their 10th anniversary.
The proposal took place in their hotel room overlooking the illuminated Niagara Falls following a romantic dinner at the Skylon revolving restaurant.
Brandon, after trying to conceal his intentions the entire night, finally dropped to one knee and made the proposal - ring in hand.
