Our story is real simple, and Sweet we were classmates in school, and on the field she played in the band I play football I knew it was a match made in heaven yet at the time you know not what you are doing at that time, but for us, God had a plan it was not at that time because we were so young, but ultimately as time prevailed, we would reunite after I moved home and took care of my mother until she passed away. We would reunite some 20 years later. Through fate, trials, faith, and tribulations of life. The testament in our story is God will not put more on you than you can bear add in these years that we have been together. We have seen ups and downs highs in lowes, but God is the ultimate key to everything. So as a Christian, it is known a man that finds a wife finds a good thing. How did we meet?
We first met in high school at MacArthur Senior high school. I was another star athlete in football and Tamika was a band member. She was very beautiful and she was so loving and kind but as Faith had it, we were not to be united as boyfriend and girlfriend because we were so young and we did not know what love was, but God had an ultimate plan in the end Tamika would leave school and go to Baylor university where her major was science and I myself, went to Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and I major in international business, liens and tarts, but God’s ultimate plan would soon unfold as I was too move back to Houston Texas and we reunited through communication
Was it love at first sight?
I know it was love at first sight when I first laid eyes on Tamika when we were in high school she was so beautiful and I know that she was the ultimate one for me but when you let God intervene and coordinate all things he will lead you back to that one true love And I am so thankful that I am marrying my sweetheart my dream, my princess and my love and yes, it was love at first sight. I love Tamika today, just as I loved her yesteryear when I first laid eyes on her and it is a true inspiration to have a woman a lady and a lover all in one that can never be replaced because she captivates my heart and empowers my life and well-being. When and where was the proposal?
The funny thing about proposing marriage is one would never expect it as I set forth a promise ring to let her know that I truly appreciate her admired her and loved her, but to her avail it was very surprising when I showed to her job to take her to lunch but afterwords, I had something very special for her. I called her out and she came to see me and I asked her "do you love me" and when she reply yes she does. I reminded her of the promise that I gave her with the promise ring, and when I opened the box and I pulled it from behind my back and I asked her would you marry me she was so surprised and full of joy, and she said yes, that made my dream come true from a teenager to an adult,
