God's Beautifully Hand-Written Love Story
This love story began eight years ago when Claire visited Jonathan’s church. Soon after her first visit, Claire decided to join the singles ministry, a ministry that Jonathan was very involved with. Their paths crossed a couple of times and Claire knew that there was something special about Jonathan but his shy demeanor made it very difficult to speak with him. So, like the extravert she is, she decided to take matters into her own hands and one night copied his phone number down from the ministry's sign-in sheet. Two months later, she gained enough courage to finally send Jonathan a text and to her surprise he called her. They spent hours on the phone that night and couldn't believe just how much they had in common. Jonathan asked if he could take Claire out on a date before she headed back up to Tallahassee for school and she said YES! Now 8 years later she's saying YES again, but this time to becoming Mrs. LoRay.

When and where was your first date?
Our first official date was at our second favorite diner, Denny's.

What is your definition of a happy marriage?
A marriage that honors God. We both truly believe that marriage reflects the trinity. A husband is called to love his wife, like Christ loves the church. A wife is called to submit to her husband and respect and support him. Lastly, God must remain at the center of that union in order for it to succeed.
