ShoreRivers protects Maryland's Eastern Shore waterways through science-based advocacy, restoration, education, and engagement. Our Education Department works closely with schools to inspire the next generation of environmental stewards, connecting students directly with their local waterways through hands-on learning.

From oyster restoration to sturgeon research, from canoeing field trips to classroom science activities, we give students meaningful opportunities to explore, investigate, and care for their local rivers.
