Wildlife Haven — Wild Baby Shower

Dear Friends,

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. Your profound compassion forms the bedrock upon which Wildlife Haven stands, allowing us to serve as a vital sanctuary for Manitoba's most vulnerable creatures. We are deeply grateful for your belief in our work.

Every day, especially now, our doors open to tiny lives facing immense challenges. We welcome featherless nestlings that have fallen too soon, raise orphaned owlettes and fox kits and tend to injured birds and sick neighbours needing immediate help. Tragically, most arrive due to human activity—vehicle encounters, habitat disruption, window strikes, and entanglement. It’s a sobering reminder of our shared responsibility.

The scale of need is staggering. During our peak season, May and June, we anticipate admitting over 750 wild patients into our Animal Hospital. Each needs urgent care, specialized food, warmth, and medical attention to survive and heal.

And this year, you can help us by welcoming these wild babies!
