Thank you for generously sponsoring a costume through our registry. Your kindness will help bring the magic of Halloween to patients and families at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh.

We find ourselves preparing for the Halloween season - one that will, once again, find many patients celebrating at the hospital instead of at home with their families and friends. Your donation is more than just a costume, it is the chance for a patient to just be a kid, not a "kid with..." When they step into their costume, they don’t have to be defined by their diagnosis – instead of being a kid with a traumatic injury, they can be a princess; instead of being a kid with a life-altering diagnosis, they can be a superhero.

A hospital experience comes with challenges and limitations, with “unfortunately, no” and “I’m sorry, you can’t do that”. Halloween is the perfect opportunity to give the kids a “yes moment”, the chance to say yes to whatever they want to be. By donating a costume, you are helping our amazing kids say yes to the magic and imagination of Halloween, and for that we are truly grateful!
