Blessing Bags Project — Brewery / Local Business

Being thankful is all about showing gratitude and being grateful for whatever you have. It's time to pay it forward! Please join us on our mission to construct Blessing Bags filled with various nonperishable hygiene and food items for the homeless and less fortunate.

We have several different ways that you can help with our mission!
While everyone is not able to give in the form of items, time or money, there is something that everyone can do!

You can provide travel sized items that can fit inside a quart sized bag. While we do not need to purchase EXACTLY whats on this wish list, please try to remain as close as possible to the styles, sizes and quality. If you make a purchase while in the store, please shoot me an email (wesam.poboybrewery@gmail.com) so that I can mark it off and update the correct amount of items on each list. Our goal is to complete 100 Blessing Bags to donate to Pax Christi Hospitality Center, a local shelter right in Port Jeff! We would like to collect ALL of these items prior to Feb 5th, 2020 and in time for our Bag Building event on February 16th, 2020 right at Po'Boy Brewery!

If you just DON'T have the time to shop, please consider donating a few dollars and we will do it for you!

If you want to help volunteer your time and help us make the bags, please email me directly to be put on the list. We will only need a limited amount of volunteers, so this will be granted to the first few people who email us.

When you are in a low-income family, or a homeless individual, hygiene items aren’t your highest priority. They become “luxury” items. We believe everyone deserves to feel clean and good. When we give to marginalized individuals, we are not just saying we want to help them survive, we are saying we want to help them thrive. It lets them know that they are deserving of these “luxury” items. Help us make this a reality, help us meet our goals and help us give back! We know with your help, this will all be possible!
