What makes The Gahanna Gift Shop different from many holiday/charity events is that the shoppers purchase the toys for their kids - each toy is only $2. "Why charge?" you may ask (and you would not be the first!). The reason is that we want to offer a hand up, not just a hand out. We believe that by purchasing the gifts at a reduced cost, that we eliminate that weird giver/receiver expectation.

It gets better. The $2 from the gifts goes BACK to the schools. Not only are these families providing Christmas for their families, but they are also supporting their schools.

It's the ultimate win-win-win situation.

That's why the gifts we are asking for are NEW, valued anywhere between $15-$35 dollars. We want NICE gifts and lots of variety for shoppers.
