South Topsail Elementary

Hurricane Florence was a wide-spread, powerful storm that brought catastrophic damage to the Carolinas. Brassfield Elementary has the opportunity to make a significant impact on a community in the midst of rebuilding. We have adopted South Topsail Elementary School in Pender County, NC. Many have worked to assist with reopening South Topsail Elementary to the 400 students and over 40 staff members.

With the assistance of South Topsail school officials, a registry has been created. All items will be distributed directly to families affected by the storm. Donations will be accepted until November 16, 2018. Our hopes are that Brassfield families will donate and we strongly encourage all to share the registry link with friends and family, so we can make a significant impact for the South Topsail Elementary community.

Families are in need of cleaning supplies, clothes, gift cards, and new or gently used books. The books will not only be given to families, but they will also be used to restock the school library, which was destroyed by the flood waters.

Items can be mailed directly to the school from this registry (997 Hoover Rd, Hampstead, NC 28443).

For those that prefer to drop off items of your choice, you can do so in the Brassfield Elementary lobby on or before Friday, November 16th. A box will be labeled for your convenience.
