Thanks so much for helping us welcome our baby and prep for all the specialized gear they'll need! We wanted to provide you with a list of specific items that we think will be a perfect fit for our lives as a family of three, as well as some general guidelines:

-We won't be announcing the sex of the baby until they're born, but we also don't think that any colours or patterns are off limits for a boy or girl. We've chosen a palette of forest and olive green, dark blue, rose, burnt orange, and brown as our "theme" colours for our nursery and baby gear, but we love colour in general. We're trying avoid grey whenever we can!

-We welcome gently used, thrifted, hand-me-down, and homemade gifts! The only exceptions are our car seat, and any other case where a product might not comply with contemporary safety standards.

-We didn't bother to register for many specific books, clothes, or toys, because we know that those are the most fun to pick out! We just ask that you stick to natural fibers for clothes, mostly wood/silicone/cloth for toys, and that you don't buy anything from Shein, Temu, or "alphabet soup" style brands on Amazon (name branded items are fine)

-We especially love forest critters, storybook vibes, and cozy handcrafted touches - imagine what a hobbit might put in their children's room and you're on the right track!
