Welcome to our registry!
We are excited to include you in our simcha! (Celebration)
We advise you to read the fine print below before making any purchases so you will know how our registry works.
(Click 'view full message' to read the full message.)
If you decide to purchase any item from this registry, please be sure to remove it from the registry afterward so others do not purchase it multiple times. To change the status of an item from the registry, click on the blue 'view or buy this gift' button to the right of the item and choose 'yes' or 'no' when asked if you've bought it. Please also make sure when purchasing an item to first check the registry to be sure it has not already been purchased.
If you are unable to find the exact item from our list that you wish to purchase, we prefer that you send us a monetary gift rather than searching for the item online and finding a similar one. We have looked at different versions of the items we listed, and picked our favorites along with the exact quantity that we need. In addition, we are trying to set up a kosher kitchen, so it is necessary for us to be specific about how we plan to organize it in order to avoid confusion. If you would like to make a monetary gift, please be aware that myregistry.com takes 8% of the value of all monetary gifts purchased through their website, so for this reason a monetary gift made with a check would be preferred over one made with a credit card. If you still prefer to make a monetary gift with a credit card, please be sure to select 'give as cash gift'.
We have also set up an 'Avrom and Leah Fund' in this registry for larger items like a set of gemoras that retail for $3000, or furniture. Purchasing these items through a fund gives us the ability to choose the styles that would be most fitting to us, and buying them with contributions from our larger circle of friends and family would be meaningful. We also plan to use some of the money from this fund for painting a set of tiles to put on our table as trivets at a local paint-your-own-pottery studio. We are both creative people. :) Once again thank you, and we look forward to seeing you at the wedding.
