ALWAYS WISH LIST

THRIVEPittsburgh's mission is to give newly-arrived refugee families (like the lovely family pictured here with our volunteers Amy and Jordan) a warm Pittsburgh welcome!

In order to do that, we have created an ALWAYS Wish List with essential items to set up an apartment for a refugee family, so they can concentrate on securing employment and taking care of their family.

Below you will find a number of items in a range of prices from three different retailers: Amazon, Target and Walmart. Sometimes you are offered a choice between retailers, and sometimes we have listed just what we were able to find at the best price. Items can be purchased online right here and delivered directly to us, or you may choose to shop at the actual brick and mortar stores and personally deliver to us at our office/storage in McCandless Township. Please just ask the service desk to mark the item off the registry. If an item is out of stock at your particular store branch, it may be available at another store branch, or you may substitute a similar item. Keep in mind that we are trying to keep items as neutral as possible to allow them to blend into any decor.
