The Cottage Bartlesville — Maternity Home

The AMA Family consists of a 40-year-old mother and her three-year-old daughter, with two teenage children expected to visit and stay overnight regularly. After 2 years under our care, this family is expected to move to independent living by May 31st, 2024. During their participation in our program, Mom was able to remain sober after overcoming a long battle with addiction. She also kept her faith in Christ and found a supportive church family. Moreover, she pursued educational opportunities and secured employment in the medical sector, currently undertaking a medical billing-coding course. Among other achievements, Mom completed the Getting Ahead course with Building Bridges and has been attending consistently Celebrate Recovery. Last, but not least, she has been able to pay some debts and increased her credit score by 120 points.

Furthermore, the family requires assistance in acquiring:
- One bed, preferably Full/Queen size
- Furnishings for the living room
- One vacuum cleaner
