Partners In Action — #BulembuBound

We are so excited to be sending a shipping container full of much-needed items for the Bulembu family! Would you join us as we support the lives of hundreds of kids in Eswatini, Southern Africa?

You can purchase new items, donate gently used things, or contribute a cash gift that will be used to buy the most-needed items. We invite you to be a part of #BulembuBound in whatever way works best for you!

Here a few cultural guidelines to consider before purchasing or donating items:

- CLOTHING: Clothing should be modest/full-coverage with no see-through fabric. Shorts and dresses should be knee-length or longer. NO spaghetti straps or low necklines for women's clothing. Jeans should be regular rise with no rips or faded fabric.

- EQUIPMENT - Equipment should be gas-powered when possible, otherwise a transformers/generators will need to be used to produce required voltage.

- ELECTRONICS - Cell Phones must be network/GSM unlocked (check with service provider how to do this), factory reset, and any accounts/Apple IDs must be removed/deactivated.

- SCHOOL SUPPLIES - A4 is the standard paper size in South Africa/Eswatini. Where printer cartridges have been requested, the specific code/model cartridges are required (but they do not have to be the manufacturer's original cartridges; generic cartridges for the same code/model will be fine).

- UNITS - All tools, drill bits, tape measures and related items need be in the metric system. Southern Africa voltage is 220V (while USA is 110V). Any electrical equipment should be 220V OR have a 110V transformer or generator.
