****o everyone.  Can I have your advice on how much should I "expect" from my FH's parents to help my parents in paying for this party?  My parents already said that they will pay for our honeymoon, the hall and the flowers, but I didn't hear NOTHING from my FH's parents yet!  Any advice on what to expect (or not to expect)? 

Your parents are paying for a lot! That's really great and your very lucky. Well why don't you just see what other expenses for your wedding you have and see if they can take care of the rest of them. Well personally if your worried on how much to expect, expect very little, that way you can't ever be disppointed. That's what I would do. I don't know how your going to ask them, make your fiance do it. haha

Your parents are very generous, setting the bar high for you mentally. I agree, do not set extreme expectatations, fortunately. You never know when you can use something neither when or where you'll need it.

I know you hear about parents paying for so much. However, it is not a mandatory thing so I would not "expect" them to pay for anything. I do not think it would be rude to ask if they think they could help at all- they either can or they can not.

I would not expect anything and be pleasantly surprised that they pay for anything.  What a huge gift that is!

The grooms parents are responsible to pay for the rehearsal dinner and the bar bill.  If this hasn't been discussed yet, you should have your future husband talk to his parents to see what there intentions are.  

As for your parents- they are being very generous.  I can't believe they are paying for your honeymoon too. How wonderful for you.
