Can items be purchased from a different store than the one listed in the registry or from a local store?
It is easiest for guests to purchase gifts online, directly from the stores included in your registry. However, items can also be purchased from any other store that carries the item, online or offline. When a gift is purchased from a store different than the one indicated on the registry, in order to update the registry, guests will need to go back to the registry, click on ‘Buy Now’. When the product’s page has opened up at the store’s website, you will also be directed to the ‘Did you buy this gift?’ page at the top of this computer screen. There they can indicate that the gift has been purchased under the ‘Yes’ section (using any of those options) so that it is efficiently marked as purchased on the registry so other guests cannot buy it.
