Britax Marathon 70-G3 Convertible Car Seat

I PREVIOUSLY BOUGHT A BRITAX BOULEVARD CAR SEAT FOR MY GRANDSON FOR THE PARENTS CAR, AND IT WAS GREAT. I NEEDED A CAR SEAT FOR MY VEHICLE AS THE INFANT SEAT I USED WAS GETTING TOO SMALL. THE MARATHON CAR SEAT IS ROOMY AND HE JUST LOVES IT. I REALLY LIKE THE CONSTRUCTION AND JUST TO KNOW THAT HE IS PROTECTED IS WORTH THE EXTRA MONEY. I WOULD RECOMMEND BRITAX TO ANYONE.

This is our 3rd Marathon carseat. We have one for both of our cars and also one for Grammy's. Our daughter loves riding in this seat. Highly recommend it!

Favorite car seat....we actually own two...highly recommend it.

We did a lot of research before we purchased this Stage 2 and 3 carseat. The Britax Marathon gets great ratings. And I'm very happy with the seat. It was shipped to me within 10 days of ordering. It is also pretty easy to install into my car. Great product overall

We just started using our Britax marathon and so far its been great. Our son seems quite comfortable, definitely enjoys that he is able to see outside very easily (versus the infant carrier)and never complains when he is in it. We also loved how quickly our order shipped out to us as well as the competitive pricing we found on this site. I do however, have to be forthright about a couple of cons regarding this carseat. For all of its virtues (and there are many) it is rather large, though fortunately not altogether heavy. The latch system on this seat is very simple to use-- but because the base is so wide not everyone can utilize it. I have a highlander hybrid and the base of this carseat overlaps the latch points in my backseat. I could use them, but it is seemingly more stable when I use the lap-shoulder belt, so I'm a little disappointed that I have to do that when my car does have latch. Last of all, when my son is in the carseat, the bottom buckle is very tight against his crotch area and it appears that this buckle has no option for adjustment of any sort. I found this surprising since infant carriers do, and my son is very much an average size 13 month old.

I did a lot of research and cost comparison before deciding on which car seat was best for us. Upon finding the Britax Marathon I was so excited because of all the incredible safety features it provides, particularly in side impact collision which could cause the most harm to baby. Initially I was concerned about the price for our budget, but knew there was no price I could put on keeping my daughter safe while in the car. Happily, when I found the babyearth website, I got a great deal! I have loved having it and appreciate how easy it is to adjust the harness straps for my quickly growing girl! It is worth every penny and was the perfect purchase for us.

We loved this seat so much we bought a second one for our other vehicle, though if we have to switch cars it is easy to install. My daughter seems to be happier now that she is in her big girl car seat but we also had to turn her front facing as she is really long legged!

With all of it's safety ratings, I am more than willing to spend the extra money to feel like I am providing the safest option while driving around my little ones. My 6mth old outgrew his infant carrier rather quickly and never seemed comfortable in it. Since switching him to his new 'big boy' car seat, he seems more comfortable and happier while in the car which makes it more than worth it!

We kept our daughter in her infant carseat untill she was over 8 months old. I knew it was time for a larger one but when we recieved the britax in the mail I then realized how unsafe she really had been in her small infant cs. This is thing is huge. In a good way. And it really doesnt take up that much more room than a baby cs. It just stands taller. I would definitly spend the money all over again.

this is an awesome seat, easy to install and fits our son great. he is a big boy, just turned one, and this seat fits his needs, we are going to buy another one soon.

We bought a Marathon 2 years ago for our first child and are now expecting the second. I could not be happier about the Marathon. The new one has so many improvements, it is absolutely fabulous. We used it from day one and our daughter has loved it from the first time. It is a bit bulky, but I was able to install it into my Toyota Matrix with just a minor adjustment to the passenger seat. It is better now that she not turned around any longer.

I think this carseat was worth the investment. My daughter seems to be happier in this seat then in her previous seat. It is easy to get in and out but we do plan to buy another one in the near future. If I have one complaint is the height of the seat may be problematic in the future as there is not much room between the roof and the seat edge in my Tahoe.

We had bought the Marathon for my son in 2007 and he has loved it, so when it came to buying a convertible car seat for my daughter,when she was 6 months old and she is now 9 months old, it was a no brainer. The reason that we moved her up from her infant car seat was not because of her size, in fact she is rather tiny, but because she was getting frustrated with not being able to see anything. Since we have bought the marathon for her, she is quite happy as well. It was easy to install rear facing and I am expecting to be just as easy to install forward facing when the time come.

I love my daughters new carseat! Not only is it so cute, but I also feel at peace knowing my baby is safe in her new seat. Plus she LOVES it!

I did a lot of research before purchasing a Car Seat, I wanted to make sure it was the best (this is my child's life at risk). This car seat had wonderful review through the consumer reports, they are tested daily for safety in different range impacts. I have the cowmooflauge print which is so cute, very east to install with the latch system only took me 5 minutes. I have been using mine for 4 months now very easy to get baby in and out since it has velcour to keep straps out of the way. Another feature I like is different strap levels for the shoulders so many car seat only have 2 or 3 slots to adjust the shoulder straps but this one more so baby is much more comfortable. The material is very soft. This is such a great car seat I bought another one for our second car.

This car seat is very sturdy and was easy to install. I love the way my 10 month old looks so comfortable in this car seat. After researching car seats, we chose the Marathon for its safety features, ease of installation, and straps that don't tangle. We found all this to be true and more. The straps are very easy to adjust with baby in the car seat. We have it rear-facing and it's a bit big and high in the middle seat between my two other children. All in all we are still happy with this purchase and think it's a great car seat.

My Grandson was growing out of the infant car seat faster then we expected. This seat is a great ride for Him. He can see everything going on. It is easy to clean, easy to install and nice and material. We did some research and you had the best price and it came on time.

My husband and I originally purchased a carrier and base system, but our daughter outgrew it by 5 months; we tried several models of "stay in car" convertible car seats, but the LATCH systems were poorly designed and often came unhooked. We decided to try the marathon car seat. The LATCH system is secure and durable; the car seat adjusters are easy to use, baby is comfortable and most importantly safe. One feature we especially like are the Velcro pieces on the side to hold the harness out of the way while you are securing baby.

This is the second Britax Marathon that we've purchased - as our 10 month old daughter was transitioning from her [Peg Perego] infant car seat, we bought just one Marathon to see whether it was the right seat for us before buying a second for our nanny's car. After using it in our own car for a month we were sold. It is soft, our daughter seems so comfortable and it is super sturdy. We like the neutral color options (we opted for two black/gray ones to match our car interiors). So now we have two!

This is the best car seat money can buy. It's like a Rolls Royce for babies! I ordered the azalea since we are expecting our first grandchild, a girl. We wanted to invest in quality, and this item has it all. Comfort and style.

I really like the car seat. It's a little tight getting the baby in a Ford Explorer though, not enough head room. It's very well constructed, if you're using it rear facing, make sure you purchase a mirror so you can see them while driving.

We just bought 2 of the Marathon 70-G3s the brand new models and we absolutely love them. Them we just switched from the baby trend pumpkin seat and base and already see a world of difference. For on e thing I love how the straps are thicker and do not twist like they did with the baby trend. Also the setup with the latch system was so fast and easy that it literally took me about 15 minutes for 2 vehicles. We shopped around cosiderably for convertible car seats and found that these looked to be the safest and the best for the amount of money we where spending. That being said of course no price was to high to protect my little girl.

We are so happy that we bought a Britax Marathon. It is easy to install, super safe, and our long-legged kids are comfortable in it. My son (now 4) used it happily until my daughter turned 1. However, as soon as we had to move it from the center of the rear row, to one of the sides... the silver fabric of the Onyx heats up so fast, it burns my fingers to touch it. So, we keep a towel over it when not parked in the garage. In retrospect, we should have ordered a velour/cotton fabric that doesn't heat up so much.
